CapWest’s Civil Construction and Equipment teams are leading berm stabilization works at the Atmosphere project, delivering a geotechnically driven solution to address erosion and improve long-term site resilience. Our scope includes reconstructing berm slopes under the technical direction and sign-off of GeoPacific, utilizing both approved imported granular materials and existing on-site soils to reshape, reposition, and bucket-pack the berms. We are supplying all necessary machinery, skilled operators, and geotechnical-approved materials, including crushed rock installation in heavily eroded zones to reduce rainfall impacts and prevent future washout. Additional works include constructing perimeter swales to redirect surface water and tie into the existing ESC system, ensuring proper drainage and controlled runoff.
